Company Description
They are building a web (2.0) based collaboration tool utilizing the latest
technology in IM, VoIP, white-boarding, video-conferencing, etc. Since they
are building a tool to optimize a company's ability to manage and
communicate within a distributed environment they have a distributed
environment themselves. What does that mean...well it means the person does
not have to re-locate for these jobs...they can work from wherever they are,
and the company will provide them with a great setup (eg. 2, twin 30" Mac HD
monitors, ergonomic chair, etc.).
This Company is a new organization composed of code enthusiasts spread
around the US and the world. It is a distributed workplace that allows team
members to work near where they live. We are a completely virtual
organization that uses video conferencing, VOIP, IM, email, and shared white
boarding to collaborate. We currently have opportunities for exceptional

They do not require our candidates to relocate. They will provide employees
with an office near where they live or set one up at their home.
The work hours are Monday through Friday 9AM to 6PM EST with a 1 hour lunch
break, and may be adjusted for different time zones. They are not interested
in candidates that require flex hours..
Solid communication skills and English fluency are required for all
opportunities.
All opportunities are for immediate hire
They run a Linux, UNIX, and Mac OS X environment. They don't use Microsoft
Windows.
They do not set specific budgets for any position within our team. Instead
we take a close look at what the candidate has accomplished in the real
world and their salary history.
They offer full benefits and bonuses.
They are not looking for contractors and do not do contract to hire
arrangements.
Leading development of a Qt-based cross-platform, networked, client with
emphasis on the Windows platform. Seeing the project through the complete
software lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and production
release and beyond.
Must Have Skills:
. 5+ years of related C++ and object-oriented design industry experience
. End-user facing software development experience
. Expertise in Qt, XML technologies
. Must be an adept cross platform developer with documented experience in Qt
development
Nice to Have Skills:
. Relational database (RDBMS) experience is a big plus (MySQL esp.)
. Previous experience with VoIP, SSL/TLS is also a plus
