[Qt-jambi-interest] User Settings - App settings

Hi! I'm new to the list, and also new to QtJambi
I'm Luis, from mexico.

My question is: Is there a preferred way to save local configuration in QT?
I want to save some app settings for the user to disk. I can do it 
manually, but
   I'd like to have a class which abstract the appsettings-usersettings 
in each OS.

Is there a QT class which for this?

My target OS is linux, but maybe later I will focus on Windows too.
