The Eclipse Integration on Linux doesn't include a Qt install that  
can be used for development - you need to install that separately  
(and it sounds as if you did). Then you need to refer the integration  
to your Qt install via the global preferences (Window/Preferences.../ 
Qt).

There is a tutorial that you can access from Eclipse e.g. via "Help/ 
Cheat Sheets.../Qt Development" or in a less interactive form in the  
documentation "Help/Help Contents/Qt Development User Guide/Getting
