Hi,
which version of Qt/WinCE are you using? If it is the Technology Preview, then the C-runtime should have been automatically deployed too. May you verify that this is true? I feel like this might be something going wrong in your case and I am interested to know, whether this is the issue.
In theory it should be no problem to port a desktop Qt application to Windows CE. The less native code you use, the better. If you use native implementations, then you might get into trouble because of missing functions/libraries on the Windows CE side.
Espen Riskedal is coming to Munich for the DevDays, so you will be able to talk to him then. Enjoy your trip.
Best Regards,

Maurice,
Sorry for the late feedback, I'm porting our app mostly as spare time:/
I was able to compile everything: at least, VC 2005 did not cry for anything.
But when debugging the application, I just get the message "this is not a valid executable" (I'm not in the office, I'll post the exact message tomorrow).
The dlls (Qt + runtime) have been uploaded successfully on the emulator.
As said previously, I'm quite new to CE programming. I may miss something.
Should I expect that any Qt application can be ported directly or are there big limitations ? (I must confess: I did not look at the doc completely, sorry :/).
Regards,
Pierre-Nicolas
PS: Will you be in Munich next week ?

Hi,
it is true that the webcast is outdated and we should have moved it to another section of the webpage. Sorry for any inconveniences this might have created. We will try to update the screencast at some point. Thank you for pointing this out.
We appreciate any type of feedback, so feel free to contact us at any time :)
Best Regards,
Maurice Kalinowki

Hello,
I'm new to QtCE, I'm just following the WebCast.
Small detail: unfortunately, the webcast seems to be outdated: configure.exe no more accept -host.
Next feedback when configures / build is over J
Thanks,
Regards,
Pierre-Nicolas
