Hello, and happy new year.

I see. Isn't there some feature round-up or something available? I'm
just wondering
why it needs a new engine, that's all.

The only public statement we have so far is this:

http://www.trolltech.com/products/qt/lifecyclestatement/

and we also mentioned on DevDays last year that its ECMA-262 compatible
and a whole lot faster than the script engine used in QSA.

You'll get the details when its integrated.
