Tranfer qt/X11 to qt/embedded
Message 1 in thread
hi all,
I have a qt/X11-3.1 project created using qt-3.1 designer. Now
I want to tranfer the qt-3.1 application on the arm board.
But as i observed that, qt/X11 is not supported for cross-compiling
(plz tell me is it true..). I want to switch the whole qt/X11 project
to qt/Embedded.
Can u tell me the necessary steps to do the switching..
Thanks and Regards,
Niranjan

As long as you do not make direct X11 api calls, it should be fairly straight
forward to 'port' a Qt X11 application to Qt Embedded. Basically, only
needing to reconfigure/compile it using the Qt Embedded package.

You should try talking to Trolltech. They'll be able to support your
switch to qt/embedded.
Cheers,
Ben
PS. Why not use qtopia 4.2 instead of 3.1? It works a lot better and you
won't have refresh problems.
