regarding qt/embedded support in monta vista linux

Message 1 in thread

hi everyone,

we are currently using uClinux as the embedded OS and Qt/embedded as the GUI development environment.we are planning to migrate to Monta Vista linux.can anyone say me whether can i port qt/embedded applications to monta vista linux ?

Also we are planning to use OMAP and Davinci (Dual core processors--- an ARM core and DSP core).can i port Qt/embedded applications to these processors since they have ARM core and qt/embedded supports ARM processors...?

thanks in advance,

saravanan

There is nothing special here. As long as monta vista supports a
framebuffer device, qt-embedded should run on that linux. You probably
have to recompile it though.

Qt/embedded does support arm platforms. I have no experience with OMAP
though.
