configuration qt 3.0 beta 6

I just downloaded beta 6 and am trying to configure it on an Irix machine.
Beta 5 I got configured and running just fine, but when I try to configure
beta 6 I get the following error:

Has anyone seen this? If so what should I do? I'm not a sys admin or
anything, I just want to install this locally. Thanks.
