bug in qdateedit?

Hi all,

There's a bug in QDateEdit, it allows you to enter 31/02/2002 and leave
the edit, and later get that invalid date from the edit.

On the other hand, there's nothing mentioned about date validation in
the docs for qdateedit ( well I couldn't find anyway ). Is the qdateedit
supposted to do validation too or is it up to the coder to validate?
