I never tried it, but you can take the OCI from Oracle 8 or 9 and compile the 
Oracle plugin. OCI8/9 should also be able to connect to an Oracle 7 server. 
Note that Oracle 7 is not supported by TrollTech.

I know for sure that a program written in qt can work with an Oracle7 
version. My question was about the client side. Can I make a program 
with qt 3 and use on the client side Oracle 7? Has anybody tried this?
