Help w/ mysql support...

Message 1 in thread

Hello,

I wish to begin work on an application that uses qt as a front end for
mysql on a RedHat 9 platform. I've gotten mySQL running and configured,
but now must get the mySQL plugin for Qt going.

The SRPMS were not installed by default, so the $QTDIR/lib/plugins/src
directory does not yet exist. Am I correct in assuming that I need only
install the SRPMS for Qt and run the appropriate ./configure --mysql
switchs (not exact, but don't have the text w/ me now).

Or must I also install SRPMS for mySQL as well?

I would appreciate any advice since my sysadmin skills are not as strong
as I'd like.

Thanks in advance,
