Widgets not drawn for Qt-4.1 MaxOS X 10.3.9

Message 1 in thread

All,

Apologies if this was already sent. It doesn't look like it made it
through because I don't see it in the archives.

Anyway,

I just built Qt-4.1.4 on G4 eMac with MacOS X 10.3.9.

I used the stock compiler.
MacOSX:~/scruples/database ed$ /usr/bin/gcc -v
Reading specs from /usr/libexec/gcc/darwin/ppc/3.3/specs
Thread model: posix
gcc version 3.3 20030304 (Apple Computer, Inc. build 1666)

Everything builds nicely including sql plugins for Postgres and SQLite.

When I tried to port an app from Linux the windows came up blank!!!
Then I ran some of the examples and they were blank too.

As an experiment I clicked where buttons *should* be and actions do occur.

I've used Qt-3.* just fine in the past.

Help!!! Has anyone seen this before?

Am I doing something stupid?

Ed
