How to compile with Qt ?

Message 1 in thread

Hi,

i am really new to Qt and i am using the
Win32 Open Source version
"setup-qt-win-free-mingw-3.3.4-3.exe"
with "qwt-4.2.0-setup-qt321nc_vc6.exe".

I want to compile an GPL Open Source
Project from http://users.physik.tu-muenchen.de/bloewe/DS/SchwedenTool/
because the Coder of this nice tool don't maintain it any more...

The question i have is, what do i need on my PC else then above listed
to compile this tool? I have already tried it on my FreeBSD but make
doesn't
seem to be the right solution.

And can i compile it on FreeBSD and after that use it under Windows?

Anyone can give me a hint please?
Thanks

Humm... This seems to be an application developed with Qt 3.x and
compiling it with Qt 4.x isn't trivial. Try downloading the latest 3.x
Qt and you might get it working.

André
