need help unsubscribing

I have tried numerous times to unsubscribe from this mailing list with no luck. I can get a confirmation e-mail which I reply to following the instructions outlined in the e-mail but I continue to get mail. I appologize for wasting someone's time with this but it seems clear the mechanism in place for unsubscribing is a bit buggy. Thanks.

On the reply that you send... Create a whole new email, rather then
replying. I have had this problem with subscribing

The same thing has happen to me several times, and this issue keeps on croping up quite often, and nobody seems to be able to fix it.
Please help.

It seems to be client based. When I had the problem, I was able to solve it by using good old 'mh' or starting a new email

This should have been fixed. Could you try again?
Different issues do crop up, and they are fixed. New ones arise a few
months later. It's not the same issue again and again, these really are
different issues on the mailing list server side, even though they look
like the same issue on client side.
Also, as I said, transition to better mailing list software has already
been planned. Hopefully it will help with these recurring failures.

You have to follow the instructions. I'm unable to help more than that,
I don't have access to the mailing list software. If that doesn't work,
please detail what you have done so far, I'll notify the sysadmins.
