OpenMP makes crashes Qt

Message 1 in thread

Hi,

after many tests, some posts on this forum without answers,
I used icc on macosx and Qt crashes when I put the option -openmp
I even tried to recompile Qt with icc (-plateform macx-icc)
and also with the option -openmp

but it doesn't work !!!

OpenMP is the standard nowadays for the multiple cores,
it is a shame that I cannot use Qt with.

if someone has an idea ...

Cheers,
Sylvain

ps: I used an evaluation version of ICC because gcc 4.2 is not available
on macosx with the apple extensions that blocks me to recompile Qt with.

Does it work with OpenMP on other platforms? With gcc? With icc?

I suggest you take this with Trolltech to actually get their tracking on this.

I've replied to your pleas for help twice - both times with no response from
you. I did only reply to you, and not the list, but still, you might want to
check your email filter.
