All qt 4.2.2 apps, even console apps start slow under Sparc Solaris 9 . We  
need to test our apps under various locales including russian, chinese and  
japanese. So, we installed all those locale packages.
When I uninstalled all east asian locale packages, the apps came up fast.  
But I cannot install / uninstall them all the time. fc-cache did do no  
good.
