off-topic: installers?
Message 1 in thread
Can anyone recommend good cross-platform installers for my
multi-platform Qt app ?
I've been using an old copy of Wise for Windows for years and need to
upgrade.
Obviously free would be terrific, but I'm interested in all reasonable
suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

This doesn't answer your (cross-platform) question, but for Windows I'd strongly recommend Inno Setup, which is free, well designed and poweful.

To make it more cross-platform: For Linux you can use the Loki Installer:
http://www.icculus.org/loki_setup/
The site claims that it also works on Mac OS X, but I never tried that. That
installer is used e.g. also by Google Earth.

The BitRock site is back up:
http://bitrock.com/products_installbuilder_overview.html. It has a
cross-platform install builder designed for Qt apps.

Check out BitRock. Apparently the site is down but hopefully it will be
back up soon.
