That's strange, I've never heard of such a problem before. Try reinstalling Fedora. Or at least uninstall and reinstall all Qt RPM packages. Make sure you're installing those for Fedora Core 5. -- [ signature omitted ]

Do not you think it will be fixed by nstalling with previous version of QT (before 3.3 that came with FC5)? I don't understand. Here you write: nstalling with previous version of QT (before 3.3 that came with FC5) as if you have installed some version of Qt 3 that does not ship with FC5. But in previous message you have written: I check them for installation during FC5 setup installation as if the original Qt 3 package that ships with FC5 had been installed. So it's not clear which version of Qt you're using. I guess you have somehow installed newer Qt packages, overwriting the original Qt packages shipping with FC5. What is the output of the following command? rpm -qi qt Anyway, uninstalling the current Qt packages and installing the Qt 3 packages that ship with FC5 should fix the problem. -- [ signature omitted ]

Maybe I did not able to write down the problem properly.
I have installed FC5 and at the setup menu, I check QT for installation. The default version came with FC5 was QT 3.3.
Because of my work I have to use GCC 3.3 instead of built in GCC 4.1 in FC5. So I installed GCC 3.3 successfully. Now when I want to install a library named CGAL (that use QT as GUI) for my work, the libstdc++.so.6 appear and after some question and answer I found that QT 3.3 in FC5 is not compatible with GCC 3.3. I have to install a version of QT that was compiled and compatible with GCC 3.3
Again after question and answer, I found QT 3.2. So I installed QT 3.2 with GCC 3.3 I have installed so far. This time QT installed successfully and my library (CGAL) also installed successfully.
In other word, I have to found a version of QT that was compiled and compatible with GCC 3.3
And now the problem solved. I posted and thank to friends (and you) that helped me resolve the problem.

I don't understand.
Here you write:
nstalling with previous version of QT (before 3.3 that came with FC5)
as if you have installed some version of Qt 3 that does not ship with FC5.
But in previous message you have written:
I check them for installation during FC5 setup installation
as if the original Qt 3 package that ships with FC5 had been installed.
So it's not clear which version of Qt you're using. I guess you have somehow
installed newer Qt packages, overwriting the original Qt packages shipping
with FC5. What is the output of the following command?
rpm -qi qt
Anyway, uninstalling the current Qt packages and installing the Qt 3 packages
that ship with FC5 should fix the problem.
