Where is qtdemo on Ubuntu 7.10?
Message 1 in thread
Hi,
I have installed Qt 4.3.2 (libraries and development files and
tools) on Ubuntu 7.10.
In Qt Assistant, it said that "on Unix or Linux, you may find a
qtdemo icon on the desktop background or in the desktop start menu
under the Programming or Development submenus. You can launch this
application from this icon. Alternatively, you can enter qtdemo in a
terminal window."
However, when I enter qtdemo in a terminal window, it said that can
not find this command. After searching, I find that there are two
files named "qt4-demos.tar.gz" and "qt4-examples.tar.gz" in
/usr/share/doc/qt4-doc directory. How to compile these two files and
install them?
Thanks!
