QListBox's changeItem

Hello,
I'm current developing an application with Qt 3.3 on Linux. My problem is the
following: each time I call QListBox's changeItem the view is centered on the
item changed, as stated on the documentation. How can I change this behaviour?
I'd like the current view to be unchanged each time I have to modify an item
currently in the list-box.
