Qt 4.3.4?
Message 1 in thread
Hi list,
I noted that Qt 4.3.4 is now available from
http://trolltech.com/developer/downloads/qt/x11 but I didn't see an
announcement yet (or did I miss something?).
Interestingly enough, it's available from mirrors but not from
ftp://ftp.trolltech.com/qt/source where I would expect it first...
Anyway, I'm just curious how this can happen and if it's really released or
just a mistake? Sorry, if I'm too impatient and the announcement should
already be on its way (or has been done anywhere else)...
BTW, the time stamps of the files within the 4.3.4 tar-ball are from the 19th
February, some snapshots are newer... this may be wanted, but it confuses me
a bit :).
Have fun, René

Hi,
4.3.4 is indeed out already. The timing of a Qt release is always to release
it to the commercial customers first and then a few days later to start
uploading the free versions.
My guess is that the other versions will follow soon, and then we will see the
public announcement. You just happened to see the X11 version in the
timeframe between the upload and the announcement.
Bo.
