Checkable TableView cell read-only when value is true

I have created a qtableview with realtively simple model where one of
the entries in the table is a boolean. I have managed to set the flags,
etc so that a checkbox is displayed in the box (as desired), but only
the cells set to false are checkable. I cannot check the boxes set to
true and once I have checked a box from false to true, it becomes read only.
I am sure I have set my flags, etc. correctly - can somebody please help?
