Can't see line edits on windows

Hello all, I'm using qt 4.3 (os ed) on a debian box here and I'm developing
a medium sized application. At some point in the development, the caret
stopped showing in line edits, I didn't noticed until recently, so I have no
clue when that happened. The worst part was when I went to compile the
application on window (the last windows build was more than a week ago).
Everything compiled fine, but the app looks very strange. The line widgets
are not painted, but they react to events, and the spin boxs don't paint the
border nor the buttons. Does anyone has a clue for what is possibly causing
that?
