Qt 4.4 Release Candidate Now Available

We are pleased to announce that the release candidate of Qt 4.4 is now available to our commercial customers and the open source community for testing and feedback. 

The Release Candidate is the final scheduled pre-release before the launch of 4.4.0 in early May 2008.

The release is now feature complete and presents a range of new features for testing and feedback on both desktop and embedded platforms. Qt users can now target an additional embedded platform, Qt for Windows CE, further expanding Trolltech's vision of "Qt Everywhere."

Major new features additions previewed in the release candidate include:

- Qt WebKit Integration
- Multimedia framework based on the KDE Phonon project
- Enhanced XML support
- Concurrency framework
- Interprocess communication framework
- New help system
- Printing improvements
