doubts regarding qt 4.4 pre release

i had downloaded and installed qt 4.4 pre release in fedora core 6.
after make install
i couldn't find anything related to phonon in the installed path. what may be the cause ? will fedora core 6 support phonon? i m using fedora core 6 now.
