Qt4.4/Phonon/CD&DVD

Greetings,
In and attempt to learn the Phonon API now in Qt4.4 Sneak Preview, I
noticed the following statement in MediaSoruce class description.
Qt Backends
Currently, Qt's backends support files in local and remote locations.
Support for other sources, such as CD/DVD, are planned for the future.
Is there any estimate as to how far in the future? I thought about using
GStreamer to handle audio CDs but there but I could not find a stable
C++ binding. Does anyone know of one?

No, we have not decided upon that yet. But it is high up on our list.
