is it possible to load libgstflump3dec.so using QLibrary and it is actually third party mp3 plugin for fedora core 6. i am using Qt 4.3.4 in fedora core 6. so, is it possible to load the above .so file or ffmpeg library in to Qt using Qlibrary or anyother means , and make an audio or video file to play in Qt 4.3.4 using QMovie or QSound or by anyother means. i know it is possible with phonon with Qt 4.4 but i dont want that. regards madhan kumar.R The information contained in this electronic message and any attachments to this message are intended for the exclusive use of the addressee(s) and may contain proprietary, confidential or privileged information. One thing should be clear by now... Sending out virtually the same email 20 times in the last 2 weeks... will not get it answered any quicker. Or at all. Everyone on the Qt-Interest knows that you and your company are working on a QT based media player 90%+ of all your emails start with the word doubt... The Phonon integration is brand new... The only real experts on using it inside of QT are TT support people... This is not a TT support email list... Ie... most people on here really can't (or wont) help you... I recommend you purchase support (if you haven't already) and ask QT-Support directly. Become the expert, and then in time as others have similar problems as you are having, you help them. But since 4/10, you have sent out 20+ emails all about the phonon system in the RELEASE CANDIDATE for 4.4.. First.. post it to the list... not me personally... or was this a personal email only? Eitehr way... You have basically asked 2 questions... One, was based on a clear mis-understanding of how the plugin path worked in QT. And people answered it.. Second, you are trying to push RELEASE CANDIDATE code in ways it wasn't designed to do. And your hitting the same problem, the codecs you need and the codecs it wants to use arent the same. Its open source code... Fix it yourself if you need the solution to work for you... Or pay for support and send emails to them... "we wont be here also" Wrong!!! I am a commercial Qt licence owner. and I'm registered to this mailing list too. and sometime I send questions on this list , and , when I know, give answers to help Qt users. This list is here to exchange. Qt business model is, since the beginning of Qt based on mix between necessity to win money to live (like you no?), and the spirit of free software community (to be responsible and share). you have no money to buy a Qt licence?... hummm (dubious) tata elxsi is one of the more powerfull software companies in the world or I 'm wrong thinking that?.... and you probably know that, when a company use Qt to sale a software, this company may buy a commercial Qt licence. Or redistribute software created with free Qt to the free community.
