Final Qt Jambi Beta Now Available

Message 1 in thread

We are pleased to announce that the final beta release of Qt Jambi is now
available for testing and feedback. Qt Jambi is a cross-platform, rich
client application development framework for Java. This release is the
final pre-release of Qt Jambi before the full launch of Qt Jambi 1.0,
scheduled for early June 2007.

The second beta release incorporates feedback gathered from three
technical preview releases, one beta and over 7300 downloads of Qt Jambi
to date. New features, optimizations and stability improvements include:

- Improvements to Qt Jambi developer tools Qt Designer and JUIC
- Feature and stability improvements to the Qt Jambi Eclipse integration
- Added support for internationalization of Qt Jambi applications using Qt
Linguist
- Cleanups and usability improvements to the Qt Jambi API

Beginning with the second beta release, Qt Jambi will be available under
both a technology preview license for commercial users, and a GPL license
for open source development ? extending Trolltech?s successful Dual
Licensing business model to an entirely new programming language.
