Hi, Sorry for the cross-postig, I already sent a similar message to the qwt mailing list, here is the message: I'm an C++/Qt/Qwt user... but now I'm working on a project using Java as programing language and we have to use Swing (ugh!)... The team do not have experience with Swing and also do not at least know the existence of Qt. So I'll try to convince then to use Qt instead of Swing... I think that this will be easy when I show that the code they made using Swing writing X lines in Y days I made using Qt writing X/Z lines in Y hours :-).... you use Qt and know that. Just one problem... they need a 2D plot widget (for now they are using JFreeChart, nice, but is Swing), so I'm trying to use the qtjambi generator to create a Java binding to Qwt. Finally the question: Anyone already did this? If yes, can you share the typesystem.xml? If not, can you help me? I started today with the generator and I still have 74 errors to solve in the generator, some of then I do not know how to solve until now, great if someone can help me with this. []'s P.S.: I'm trying with Qwt from svn compiled without QwtWidgets. -- [ signature omitted ]

Sounds like a great project! I've been looking for something like this as well... Helge F. Hi, You might also be interested in knowing that KDChart, our Qt4-based 2D plotting/charting component, is currently in the process of being released for Qt Jambi. Preliminary planning is to release the first beta during July, and a final version around September. Feel free to send me an email or check out www.kdab.net for more information on KDChart C++/Jambi and for evaluation versions.
