Qt v3.3.2 - Thai issue

Hi *,
I would to like to introduce myself.I am a software developer and
having little information about the Qt programming on liunx environment.
In my project there are some internationalization issues coming in Thai
language on hardware device . There are some character in thai with a
small
line on the top, the gap between the line and character is more.So it
looks ugly on the display and some time users can't identify the word.
Please have a look on the attached picture. Qt v 3.3.2 used to run the
application.
Problems seems small but i could not able
to locate the piece of code in Qt. I assume there is problem either in Qt
code or
Thai font. Please suggest any valuable information to fix this issue.
