Qt 4 Release Schedule Adjustment

Dear Trolltech Customer / Qt user:
As you may know, the next version of Qt has been under development for
some time. Following an extended testing period with public releases of
the Qt 4 Technology Previews and Qt 4 Beta 1, we have received a
tremendous amount of valuable feedback from our customers and
non-commercial users.
To ensure that all of this valuable feedback is incorporated into Qt 4,
and to accommodate the extensive testing and quality assurance necessary
to achieve our targets, we have now adjusted our release schedule. Our
goal is to ensure that the ultimate release of Qt 4 reflects the input
of the community, the requirements of our users, and a level of quality
consistent with our positive track record and company values.
As such, we now anticipate the release of Qt 4 in late Q2/2005, with two
interim beta versions released in March and May.
We regret any inconvenience that this schedule adjustment may cause, but
are confident that Qt 4 will be worth the wait.
