bring a tabified dock to front

Hi,
I try to bring a "tabified" dock window to front per software (without
clicking on it).
I tried with the function tabifyDockWidget() of the mainWindow. It just
changes the order of the tabs but not which one is shown.
I also tried the activate and the setVisible() functions.
Is there a way to do that?
I am working with Qt4.2
