QListView in IconMode changed behaviour since Qt 4.2, qt-4.3.0-20070505

I don't know if this change was intended but it sounds at least worth 
mentioning it in the documentation if it is so

I used a QListView in IconMode without any describing names (an empty QString 
for that so that only the icons are shown) and wanted them to overlap 
(ListView was set to 'Fixed').
In Qt 4.2 I just had to resize the grid taking a size smaller than the 
symbols' size and they overlapped (they where obviously painted at the 
topleft grid coordinates). This has changed with Qt 4.3 and now the symbols 
are restricted by the Grid and cut there. They do therefore not overlap 
anymore and show only part of the original symbol which looks as if this was 
not intended.

If that was an intentional change it would be nice to have a property to 
influence the behaviour (restrict by grid / overlap).
