Phonon on MacOS X

Hi all,

I've compiled and installed 4.4.0-tp1 on my Mac, and compiled the  
Phonon capabilites example. Now when I run it, the backend  
capabilities don't show any available device, mime type or effect.  
Any hints on what I can do to debug this or get it working?

Details:
  - MacOS 10.4.11 on a G4 PowerBook
  - gcc 4 (XCode 2.5 & friends)
  - compilation: ./configure -arch ppc ; make ; make install
  - QuickTime 7 installed
