GCC cannot compile the DX SDK headers, so you may have to modify them manually to fix the errors. But you can use any other backend that builds on Windows. -- [ signature omitted ]

I have no idea if GStreamer builds on Windows, though. Xine is the other backend that is available, but I don't know about Windows support either. Finally, there's VLC, but it's not yet written. I just know the VLC developers are very eager to write a backend. Maybe you could help them? -- [ signature omitted ]
