Running Qtopia Core/Platform 4.3 with X

Has anyone ever tried this scenario:
Qtopia Core/Platform 4.3
Gtkmm
Matchbox
KDrive (Tinyx)
In order to support other applications, has anyone tried to use Qtopia
Platform with X so as to allow Gtkmm applications to also run on the
same device? Those Gtkmm applications would then be able to access
Qtopia Platform API for specific functionality. Has this been done
before?

For Qtopia pda 2, there was a program called Xqt
http://xqt.sourceforge.jp/
That ran a special X11 server in a Qtopia window.
Of course, this does not include API wrappers for gtk access to Qt API.
Qtopia core/platform can use dbus for process communication.
That's as close as I heard to what you are looking for.
