Setting keyboard repeat rate in Qtopia Core

Message 1 in thread

Hello

I am using Qtopia Core 4.3.3 on arm. I have attached a keyboard on my
USB port and everything works, but I want to adjust the keyboard repeat
rate. It seems like the keyboard is using the tty driver since it does
not work if I set the QWS_KEYBOARD variable to USB. How is it possible
to modify the repeat rate?

Hi Johan,

I'm not 100% sure, but I think both the delay & the repeat rate are
hard-coded for the tty driver. If you would like to change them, you
can edit src/gui/embedded/qkbd_qws.cpp, lines 34 & 35.

May the source be with you. :-)

Cheers,

Tom

PS: If you think there should be a better/easier/run time way to do
this, please feel free to submit a feature request at
