Dead files in the tarballs/snapshots

Hey,
I'm not a big supporter of the current way of building Qtopia and have looked
in how to reorganise the sourcecode layout to be able to just compile a
subset separately but also to keep the current convience to just type make to
rebuild everything. While doing so I stumbled across some files I think that
are dead (more on the other issues later):
- Button/[1-4].png were probably used by the old launcher but it looks like
they are unused.
- etc/keytab* was used by the embedded konsole but this is not in the
snapshot.
- shutdown/shutdown? there is not even a shutdown.service...
are these files dead? who should use them? are more files and clasess dead?
